Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WINNIE is a sweet, petite, social girl who is ready to find her forever home!
WINNIE is very loving, and currently enjoys playing with her bigger foster brother, who is also a black lab mix. She is super sweet, and submissive with other dogs. WINNIE loves to play with stuffed toys and balls, and can keep herself occupied for hours upon hours. She is completely house trained and hasn't had a single accident in her foster's home! WINNIE does great on a leash and she sure gets super excited when she knows she is going for a walk!

Most of our Meets are done virtually due to Covid as well as successful adopters are often geographically distanced. Fosters and potential adopters arrange "Facetime" meetings.

More about this rescue
A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
