My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cynthia!

Ohhhhh how we love Cynthia! ❤️ She has  8 years of experience with love & loyalty. When you adopt a senior dog, you aren’t just giving them a home… you are becoming a part of their happy-ever-after. Cynthia deserves to find hers because love is ageless!

Cynthia is the most lovely dog you will ever meet. She wakes up in the morning and she smiles so excited to go outside and smell the roses. Her gentle way stole her foster mom's ❤️. We don't know how she ended up as a stray.. but we do know she so deserves to be in a home where she sleeps on comfy beds and gets to be loved on and spoiled each day by her very own forever family. She has a the sweetest face and ADORABLE ears and just the best spirit. She is grateful for the small things in life.

We are hoping her story touches the heart of someone who is looking for a new family member to make their family complete that just want to provide the same unconditional love that Cynthia provides.

Cynthia is a soul dog.  Let's all work together and get her the home she deserves.

She is a medium sized Staffie/Boston Terrier mix that is 8 years young and weighs 43 pounds, with beautiful soft black fur, stunning brown points on her face and legs and the cutest white socks.

Cynthia is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, Heartworm Negative and Micro Chipped.

If you think Cynthia might belong at your place, please complete an application and her foster mom will be in touch.

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.

Additional adoption info

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period. Before you chose to adopt, check out this link for a few items to consider before making this big step: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/are-you-ready-to-adopt/
