My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bella! This little lady is a TEN! She is around ten years old (best guess) and weighs 10 pounds. She is some kind of Terrier mix with the cutest little face that melts your heart. Sweet little Bella was rescued from the shelter as her owner could no longer care for her. She was a trembling mess being in such a loud, scary environment kenneled with multiple dogs.

Once she was rescued and brought in a loving foster home she could start to relax and settle in. She happily co-exists with another senior dog but would have no problem being your one and only. Bella LOVES her people and will follow you wherever you go. She absolutely loves curling up with you at bedtime and has no problem sleeping in.

Potty training didn’t come in the package with Bella, but she absolutely LOVES to go for walks! So frequent trips out to the grass has seemed to help the potty problem. But her new owner will need to keep her on a routine for continued success.

Bella definitely needs a home with people that are home more that not. If you work from home, she will sleep the day away under your desk. And if you are one of those people that likes to take their dog with them everywhere they go - she is the girl for you! This special little lady still has a lot of pep in her step, and would love to be your daily sidekick.

The ideal home for Bella with have lots of love, patience and provide a stable routine for her to feel safe and secure. She will bring you many years of love, happiness and companionship. If Bella sounds like a good match, get your application in today!

More about this rescue

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
