Callie showed up on my back deck on 9/6/24. I've been taking care of her ever since. She's been in the house once for a few hours, otherwise she's been an outside kitty. I was able to get her to Young-Williams shelter where they confirmed she's been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped and is a "community" cat. She's about 3 years old. She's extremely friendly and loving for being a lifelong stray. Loves being outside, although I'm sure she'd love to be nice and warm inside once it gets colder. I'm just not a pet person, I travel a bit for work and also leave town on my days off somewhat often, so it's hard to keep a pet. I will continue taking care of her the best I can in the meantime, but I'd love for her to find a forever home. She's too sweet to be a stray forever. She doesn't hiss at another stray that has come on the deck a few times....she doesn't even hiss at the possum! She seems to like other creatures, even birds, haha.
