My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Guy Ritchie is an estimated 1-year-old 75 lb male Shepherd mix who was a stray intake to the packed San Bernardino city shelter, where he was kenneled with Clyde the Doberman. Guy Ritchie was friendly with loose body language to all volunteers/staff and had no issues with his kennel mate. He will be joining Dog Gone Seattle and we will share more info once we get to know him in foster care.

Foster Update: Guy Ritchie is such a sweet, affectionate boy! He arrived in Seattle with a pretty significant case of kennel cough. Now that he’s healthy, his personality is really starting to shine. He is a young, energetic Shepherd that loves people. He is friendly with other dogs, with proper introductions, and is crate and potty trained. Guy has shown some typical territorial GSD behaviors and will benefit from strong leadership and Shepherd experience. We believe Guy will do best with an active family with a fenced yard and are not considering apartments at this time.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current core vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test and microchip with lifetime registration. Adoption fees benefit all the animals in our rescue, and may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Animal History: This dog was rescued from the the high kill San Bernardino city shelter and transported via START, arriving to Seattle area foster care 9/20/24. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
