Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ember is a 9-year-old Yorkie who has endured a tough life, but her story is finally taking a turn for the better. This little lady is ready to find her forever home where she can be spoiled and loved as she deserves!
Why Ember is Amazing:
Cuddle Queen: Though timid, once you pick her up, she melts into your arms and relaxes.
Toy Curious: She's starting to discover the joy of toys, and we're here for it.
Good with Other Dogs: Big or small, she's a friendly girl.
Crate & Grooming Pro: Great in a crate, loves baths, and is a groomer's dream!
Adventurer in Training: House training is still in progress, but she's improving every day.
Ember came to us in rough shape, and her coat had to be shaved due to matting. But it's growing back soft and beautiful, just like her confidence and spirit.
A Little More About Ember:
She's still learning to trust and needs a patient, loving adopter to help her fully adjust to this new chapter of her life. She's making daily strides, wagging her tail, and even showing excitement for meals! While she's shy about morning pets and cuddles, she's slowly starting to open her heart.

Our humble mission is to fight for the underdogs! We want to make a meaningful impact one animal at a time through dog rescue. At Simple Girl Doggie Haven, our focus is on dogs that may have physical, medical, or other special needs. Disabilities range from blindness, deafness, poor confidence, aggression, and other forms of disability. We are dedicated to giving these animals the best chance of survival by providing lifesaving medical treatment or training. Our goal in many cases is teaching them to trust, so they can experience what it feels to know love and compassion and, ultimately, to find their furever homes. Won't you help us? Please consider donating, fostering, or adopting. You, too, can make a difference in one doggie's life!
