What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted this little nugget Enzo in January and he will be turning 1 at the end of October. He is full of energy and life. He always makes silly/funny faces, especially when he is next to you and you have food. He loves the sun and outdoor activities (ex: hiking, camping, walks, fetch, etc.). He is almost crate-trained (he doesn't always enter the crate on command) and he is almost house-broken (he will still go in the house if you don't let him out at regular intervals). He gets along well with other animals, and he loves people, so much so that he often gets too excited and jumps on them (his next family will need patience when teaching him how to courteously say hello to people). The main reason why Enzo is being rehomed is because he is resource guarding (food mainly, toys sometimes), and at this time we don't have the resources to properly manage this behavior. Secondarily, he often nibs/mouths/bites down (though usually not enough to break skin) when he is seeking attention.
