My name is Zoey!

Zoey is a 10yo mastiff that was tied out 24/7 for a few years, before that she lived in a garage. Dispite a hard life, she is the sweetest dog. She can be sensitive to correction, but has quickly realized she is in a safe place now.

There has been no aggression, and she is not food aggressive, I can reach in her bowl while she eating and no reaction.

She does have anxiety and takes meds. Vet thinks in the right environment she may not need to stay on it.

Zoey is leash reactive, please google it if you don’t know what that is. We are slowly trying to help her with leash reactivity.. and successfully use a head collar for pulling during walks. Zoey is very smart, eager to please and listens well.

She is cautious of new people, but warms up fairly quickly, and is quite friendly.

She currently lives with 2 senior chihuahuas, and 4 cats. Our cats let her know they are in charge, and she mostly just avoids them.
