Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Leela! The first few chapters of her story are full of sickness, abuse, and pain. When she was rescued, she could barely breath (she couldn't play because she was so weak from wheezing) and she was devastatingly emaciated. Her eyes were completely swollen shut (the owners of the property had been pouring peroxide in her eyes)...but she was such a patient fighter!
Day 1 of intake Leela was immediately taken into HSOC, who connected her with fosters who religiously continued her rigorous care treatment to ensure this sweet, affectionate darling had the life she deserved.
Now, we are happy to report Leela is up to weight, happy, has clear lungs, and can zip around the room with the energy and joy a kitten deserves! Leela is LOVING life! She is a little bright light of enthusiasm and joy, meowing with patient energy and rubbing against her fosters' legs when they greet her. She is always ready for pets (she loves head scratches) and will meow her appreciation when you give her pets. Her purr motor is always going, and she never has a bad day.
Leela is a strong, gentle heart who took the horrible hand delt to her and decided to overcome it with a tender, affectionate, and forgiving attitude. She is inspirational and deserves nothing short of the best in the world
Leela gets along swimmingly with her Foster feline friends, and needs a Forever Family with a kitty companion.

All adoptions start with an application and a meet-n-greet between the family (and, yes, that very much does include all members with fur and four legs!) and the prospective adoptee. Fees available upon request.
