Meet Jack! He is an 11-year old, gentle, and friendly sweetheart. He enjoys a leisurely walk around the block followed by a long nap in whichever room you happen to be in. His joints aren’t quite what they use to be so he takes medication to help him feel his best! He is looking for a home that will give him the love, treats and soft places to nap that he deserves. Jack currently lives with three other dogs in his foster home. Two are young, high energy puppies who Jack enjoys exploring the yard with. The other dog is a senior Britany who naps most of the day. Jack gets along great with everyone. Jack is house trained and has been left in the house with his foster brothers alone with no incident. If you are looking for a loving companion that doesn’t require too much exercise and can give him lots of love then Jack is the perfect dog for you. Jack does need a home with a yard that has a secure physical 5 foot fence.
Jack is neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Jack’s adoption fee is $250.00 which helps to offset our vetting and allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.
If you are interested in making Jack a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab. Once the application has been reviewed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator. A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs. We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have questions, contact Patti at 801.641.4053 or ptsouras@gmail.com.
Jack is eligible to be transported through our canine railroad up to 1400 miles from Salt Lake City with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.
