My name is Elvi!

Elvi is a black domestic shorthair cat who is in need of a new home. She is sister to Macy, and the two cats must be adopted together. She is playful and athletic, and once you've earned her trust, she will be quite affectionate. However, she is very skittish, and it will probably take a while for her to trust you. You will need to be patient with her during this time. I would not recommend someone who has other pets adopting her, unless they can be kept separate. Behavior around children is not known; she doesn't like being chased around and cornered by anyone she doesn't fully trust, but if this wouldn't be an issue, I think she would be fine. Otherwise, she is a well-behaved and healthy cat. She mostly tolerates her nails being clipped, and she also tolerates nail caps. She has occasionally "made biscuits" on rugs instead of her scratching post, but otherwise no significant scratching issues.
