Introducing Buster! Buster is a 3 year old male Australian Shepherd mix weighing in at 35lbs. Pulled from Evansville Animal Care and Control, Buster is ready for his new hone. Currently living in a foster home, Buster has enjoyed living his life along side other dogs and basking in the little pleasures. Buster's fosters are proud to report that he is a cleanly gentleman and knows to do his business outdoors. Though we are unsure on his compatability with children, this sweet boy is said to do well with feline friends. All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
