My name is Lainey!

Meet Lainey! Lainey is a quiet, relaxed girl that loves to cuddle! She enjoys chasing her sisters around, but is easily distracted trying to get the attention of whoever is in the room. She will always make her presence in any room known by gently sitting next to you in an attempt to ask for pets. She purrs loudly when she is pet down her back, and under her chin.

Although she’s always been much less troublesome from her siblings, it is no secret Lainey loves to play! Consistently she is found chasing her sisters around the room, and instigating playful attacks on them. Like her sister Daria, Lainey can be more reserved at times. Instead of playing with her littermates, she will graciously observe them from the cat tree.

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
