Loki is an energetic, cuddly 53 lb Husky/Malamute/German Shepherd mix. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He has completed 4 weeks of training in a boarding program and responds to sit, place, come, crate, down, gentle, shake, high five, “tell me”, no, and kisses. He is very smart and easy to train.
We love him very much but have learned that he has a tendency towards aggressive behavior when he is startled, anxious, or afraid. He does give a growl warning but he’s fast and strong and bites if scared enough. He also exhibits resource guarding with food and his people.
We have three small special needs children and just can’t have Loki around them for safety reasons. He needs a home with no other pets and an experienced owner who will love him, continue his training, and provide a calm, peaceful home.
He is not fond of the groomer or the vet and currently requires anxiety medication before getting an exam/shots.
We pray we can find him a loving home soon…
