My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful, sweet Stella has a heart of gold and instantly loves everybody she meets. Life wasn’t kind to her before; she was unloved and severely neglected, but now she’s on a journey of rediscovery, ready to find a family that will cherish her as much as she will love them.

At around three years old, Stella is a spayed American bully mix who thrives on companionship. She’s dog-friendly with all sizes and adores people, including kids. While her history with cats is unknown, she’s a gentle soul who brings joy to everyone around her.

Stella enjoys leisurely walks in the park, car rides, and playdates with her furry friends. However, her true passion lies in being a couch potato and a dedicated snuggler—she’s a notorious bed thief who will happily curl up next to you for some quality cuddle time.

Despite being born without her back left foot, Stella has adapted remarkably well with her prosthetic. She’s currently working on her crate and house training, making great progress every day.

Stella is ready to fill your home with love and happiness. Are you the family she’s been waiting for?

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
