My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To begin the adoption process, please fill out the SOTB Adoption Application completely. Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit.

One of our favorite mixes is Lab x Pittie, which is what Daisy seems to be. Friendly, tolerant, even tempered, just an all around fantastic family dog mix.

Daisy is right around 7 months old as of early October. She's a lovely size at 30-35lbs, she's got moderate fun time energy outside and snuggly adoring stare energy indoors. She's being fostered by two young kids (and their mom) and has had the best time helping them with backyard adventures and story telling. Daisy gets along well with other dogs, she's polite, appropriate and puppy-like with cats, and best friend material with kids. She's a go anywhere, do anything kinda gal who can get by just about all apartment dog breed restrictions as a retriever mix.

Daisy is fully vetted and ready to find her forever people. Does she sound like your kinda sunshine? Visit southofthebully.com and fill out an adoption application.

Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care.

Adoption Approval Process for South of the Bully

• An Adoption Application must be completed and approved. We call and check vet references to make sure any current pets are up to date with vaccinations and check length of time under vet care. We review all their current pets and ask questions about their temperament to make sure the dog they want to adopt would be a good fit. Once the interview process is complete, the final step is a home visit. Home visits are currently done virtually due to the pandemic.

• If a dog has been chosen, a meet and greet is arranged AFTER the application is approved. If they have other pets, we also like them to meet at this time, if possible.

• Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip.

• We offer training support and resources for the lifetime of the dog once adopted. Our contract states that if for any reason they cannot continue to provide care for one of our dogs that it be returned to our rescue.
