My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To begin the adoption process, please fill out the SOTB Adoption Application completely. Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit.

Easy-going, grown azz adult perfection.

Marley is a delightful soul who has been such an easy foster. She's 3 years old, around 45lbs and has an easy-going demeanor. She's housebroken, crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, gets along well with other dogs, and does great with kids. Marley does love a solid lay around and snuggle session on the sofa, but she's also up for meandering walks around the neighborhood and a meetup with friends at the local coffee shop. She's got that grown adult dog vibe, anything and everything is a-ok with her.

Are you looking for basically perfect? We got you. Visit southofthebully.com and apply to adopt Marley today, we're pretty sure she's not going to stick around on the Available list for long.

Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care.

Adoption Approval Process for South of the Bully

• An Adoption Application must be completed and approved. We call and check vet references to make sure any current pets are up to date with vaccinations and check length of time under vet care. We review all their current pets and ask questions about their temperament to make sure the dog they want to adopt would be a good fit. Once the interview process is complete, the final step is a home visit. Home visits are currently done virtually due to the pandemic.

• If a dog has been chosen, a meet and greet is arranged AFTER the application is approved. If they have other pets, we also like them to meet at this time, if possible.

• Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip.

• We offer training support and resources for the lifetime of the dog once adopted. Our contract states that if for any reason they cannot continue to provide care for one of our dogs that it be returned to our rescue.
