My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Milo, the handsome husky you've been waiting for! Milo may not be the biggest fan of other dogs, but that just means he's all about spending quality time with his favorite humans. He's a big fan of walks (he's excellent on leash) and is always ready to explore the great outdoors with you, making every stroll an exciting adventure. Milo's love for treats makes training both fun and effective, and he's always ready to bond over a tasty snack. When he's not out on a walk, you'll find him relaxing in the sun or enjoying a good brush - he loves the attention! With his energetic personality and laid-back moments, Milo is the perfect match for both an active lifestyle and a cozy home life. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving partner to share your days with, Milo is ready to join your family. Come meet him today - he can't wait to be your new best friend!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
