My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Lola was brought in by their previous owner on September 18, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Lola, the ultimate snuggle companion who's great with respectful kids and dogs! Lola can become overly excited when seeing other dogs out on walks and can pull and jump towards them. Using visual barriers, positive reinforcement or changing your walking route would be beneficial. Housetrained and leash-trained, Lola has already mastered most of the hard work, making her an easy addition to your family. She loves long walks and will charm everyone she meets with her adorable face and irresistible demand for pets. Though vacuums aren't her favorite, Lola loves feeling the wind in her face during car rides. She's the definition of sweet and ready to bring joy into your home-just bring a leash, collar, and make her yours today!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
