Shadow (A136151) is a 2-year-old Chow Chow mix who weighed 34.5 pounds on intake but is underweight.

10/04/24 This shy young pup is Shadow! Shadow was surrendered to the shelter because his owner was moving and unable to take him and his friends with them. Shadow was described as a shy pup but friendly pup. He is looking for a patient owner who will have the time to work with him and build his confidence. We also encourage his next owner to work with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners and helping him to learn to trust new people. Shadow was said to have previously done well with children and adults in his last home. He was also said to do well with other dogs but has no history with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new potential friends. Shadow was said to be kennel trained, but he has tried to climb his kennel at the shelter. He was said to not be housebroken and has yet to learn any basic commands. He also arrived at the shelter underweight and has been working on putting back on the pounds. Shadow is looking for a special person who is willing to work with him and help him become part of the family. If you are interested in meeting him, please let us know!
