Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beale is a three-year-old toy fox terrier out to steal your heart. He says he would like his person to be home quite a bit, but if that isn’t possible, an older, larger quiet dog as a companion would be perfect. Beale loves his people and wants to be part of their activities (he loves laps and tummy rubs), but he also needs quiet time. He will go to his crate (preferably near his people) or find the warmest spot in the house (heat vents are a favorite). If there is no heat vent available, he loves to cover dive. Food and toys are two of his favorite things. Peanut butter is on the top of his list, and he insists on playing five to ten minutes a few times each day. Beale prefers to be fed in his crate and likes to play with his toys without other dogs. He does expect his person to be there, though to throw or tug back. Potty training is a work in progress where he does best with positive feedback. Get to know this handsome boy. Are you his special person?

Fee is held for one week during trial adoption. After one week, if adopters decide to add the dog to their family, the money is deposited.

More about this rescue
Chihuahuas are a very unique breed. They are funny, loving, and incredibly affectionate. We believe that every chihuahua deserves a warm lap, cuddles, and love and it is our goal in finding families for each and every dog that comes into our rescue. It is also our goal to provide education to others on the breed, as chihuahuas often get stereotyped as yappy and aggressive. We hope to show our local communities that, with proper training, chihuahuas can be calm and well-behaved pets, suitable for any home.
