My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MOOKS
Sweet Mooks comes to the door every time I get home and greets me with soft purrs as he weaves in and around my feet to get some welcoming pets. He, more often than not, hangs around me wherever I may be. Yes, that also means the bathroom. Mooks isn’t mischievous with furniture, and really doesn’t cause any trouble other than lightly nipping at my fingers. He lets me hold him even though I know it’s not his favorite thing. Recently I started waking up to him sleeping right next to me, and giving me a warm look saying “good morning, momma”. Just wait till you pull out the string toy. He will whip out some elite athletic parkour skills that will entertain everyone in the room. He’s also very social with friends that come over. He likes meeting new people, especially those willing to play with him. Have another cat? not to worry, because Mooks behaves like a total gentleman with any pet you introduce him to. He gives them their space, and also welcomes their company whenever they initiate. Mooks would behave well in a home that gives him his space, but is also eager to play and interact with him. He will be a peaceful and loving addition to your home.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
