My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SHAY is in New England and is available for meet and greet with approved applicants!

SHAY is a sweet and easy going girl! She loves squeaky/soft toys, basking in the sunshine and rolling in the grass. SHAY looks forward her daily walk and does great on a leash. She is good with children and cats too!

SHAY was previously in a foster home as a single dog, and now is living with a sweet Lab for Life dog as a roommate. She can live on her own or with other dogs. This girl is the momma to our Spooky Litter (Binx, Onyx, Midnight, Echo, Ember, Adler, Dahlia) and they are the cutest most lovely puppies, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! SHAY isn't a huge fan of the crate but she settles once she is in. She is not destructive at all in the home, so really doesn't need a crate. Shay prefers to sleep in her doggy bed with her people. She has a calm and loving vibe - this girl is the best!

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
