Here's what the humans have to say about me:
For a couple weeks one of our volunteers watched as Dollie frolicked in the neighborhood and then one day, Dollie decided to make the volunteer’s yard her safe space – she knew how to pick just the right home to stop at where our volunteer is providing great care for her. She is currently staying in an enclosed back porch until we have an open foster home or find a new forever home for this very sweet little lady.
Dollie received her name because she has such an adorable face but “doll face” didn’t seem like a good name so that became Dollie and she most definitely lives up to her name. She has really unique coloring and patterns and her personality makes her even more beautiful! Although the photos show her outside, in her new home, she will need to be indoor only just like all Reuben’s Room cats.
Our vet estimated that Dollie is approximately 7 months old (born about 3/1/2024). Her favorite hobby is cuddling and she will practice that hobby for as long as you will let her. While she is not fond of the volunteers' other pets, she has tolerated them with hissing but no aggression. They are kept separated now so it’s hard to know exactly how she will be with other animals but with a slow, proper introduction, she may do just fine. She loves being with people and has done well with visitors of nearly any age and enjoys greeting everyone so a home with children may be a nice match for her as long as they understand cat boundaries.
Dollie is a little lover who will keep your lap warm for as long as you will let her. She never gets tired of being petted and brushed. She has a very loud, loving purr and also talks when she comes running to greet you. She is extremely playful but doesn't need fancy toys because anything that moves becomes her toy. However, some of her favorite things to do are chasing small bouncing balls, and she will be happy to entertain you with her antics while playing with them.
If you are looking for a young fantastic companion who will shower you with love, you have found her.
