Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there! My name is Sebastian, but you can call me “Bass” for short.I am a 3-year old, 40lb loving little guy, and guess what – I’m looking for a forever home!
Have you been dreaming of a silly, lovable pup to rock your world? Then I may just be the one for you.
I had surgery in the shelter for a rectal prolapse which I am in the process of healing from. It’s happened one more time since then and the vet said if it happens again they’d recommend a colopexy surgery. To help my digestive system heal my foster parents have me on a special bland diet (rice, sweet potato, pumpkin, chicken, salmon and probiotics). They’ve started reintegrating kibble slowly but I will likely need to be on a modified diet with kibble and supplements (Glandex or real sweet potato and pumpkin) and probiotics long term as a preventative. I promise I’m not high maintenance, I just want my forever home to know that I’ll need some extra TLC to stay healthy! I’ve had positive experiences at the vet, as I get lots of human attention there! I just want to meet everyone! They really love me there.
I have pup foster siblings that I love to play and cuddle with! I would really love it if my forever home has another dog for me to hang with, otherwise I’ll need lots and lots of lap time! I also get along great with my kitty siblings now that I know them better.
I am crate, leash, and potty trained already (awesome, right?), and mostly just need to work on my manners around food. I am small, but mighty, and sometimes jump to say hello because I’m so excited. My foster mom says I should have been named Dozer because sometimes I can be a bit of a bulldozer! I take redirection really well though. I don’t mind sleeping in my kennel at night (though I would REALLY prefer to sleep in bed with you), as long as I can have some cuddles in the morning. I love getting covered up with a blankie, that is one of my new favorite things!
If you’re thinking that I am the perfect boy for your family, you know where to find me!
