Hello, dear friend, I am Queen of Hearts. My tale is an enchanting one. One day, while exploring my kingdom, I discovered a magical portal that transported me to this rescue. I was taken aback, but my curiosity overcame my surprise. I began to explore, making friends and learning new games. I quickly became the rescue's sweetheart, with my friendly demeanor and playful antics. Now, I'm ready to find a new kingdom to rule. Adopt me, and let's create magical moments together. Queen of Hearts has a chicken allergy and can not have any foods with chicken or chicken bi-products of any kind.

We are currently foster-based. Meet our pets online, fill out an application & when approved we will set up a time to meet them.

We also have cats in the windows at Petsmart on Monroe Street ( 5241 Monroe St, Toledo, OH 43623 ) they can view throughout the week and we have events on Sundays from 4-6 there.

Our mission is to provide temporary and long-term shelter and vet care for homeless dogs and cats. To promote animal welfare education, reduce the overpopulation with a mandatory spay/neuter program, promote adopting vs buying from a breeder, provide necessary veterinary care, and we value our "no-kill" policy unless medically/behaviorally necessary. Every animal deserves a chance.
