Hi there, I'm Tweedledee! Don't let my name fool you, I'm not one for nonsense. I ended up here at the shelter after a hilarious mix-up. You see, I was chasing a particularly elusive red dot (you know the kind!) and I accidentally ran into the rescue rabbit and here I am! But let me tell you, I've been having a ball, charming everyone with my goofiness. I'm sweet, friendly, and oh so curious. I love to play and explore, and I promise to keep you entertained with my antics. Now, I'm on a mission to find my other half. Could that be you? Adopt me and let's make our own fun-filled, goofy adventures together!

Tweedledee has a chicken allergy and can not have any foods with chicken or chicken bi-products of any kind.

We ask that you fill out our adoption application to start. We ask people to be approved for adoption before meeting our animals because we would hate for someone to fall in love and things not work out.

We are currently foster-based. Meet our pets online, fill out an application & when approved we will set up a time to meet them.

We also have cats in the windows at Petsmart on Monroe Street ( 5241 Monroe St, Toledo, OH 43623 ) they can view throughout the week and we have events on Sundays from 4-6 there.

Our mission is to provide temporary and long-term shelter and vet care for homeless dogs and cats. To promote animal welfare education, reduce the overpopulation with a mandatory spay/neuter program, promote adopting vs buying from a breeder, provide necessary veterinary care, and we value our "no-kill" policy unless medically/behaviorally necessary. Every animal deserves a chance.
