Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Trixie is a fun, 11-month-old, 45 lbs, lab/shepherd/collie mix (best guess). She has never met a stranger - human, dog, or otherwise. She is a kind, curious, and loving dog. She is proving herself to be quite intelligent too. Her foster has taught her a lot of useful tools that will make her an excellent pet: she doesn't jump up on you, she sits by the front door so you can exit easily, she comes when she is called, and she is clicker trained. We believe she would thrive in a home with another playful dog. At the dog park, she was friendly, easy-going, and accommodating to all the dogs she met there. She has excellent meet-and-greet behaviors. Her cat history is unknown, but we think with a slow introduction with a dog-savvy cat, it would be okay.

Rescue story: Trixie was found by a good samaritan who considered keeping her after an exhaustive search to find the original owners. However, after realizing his work schedule was keeping him away from home for 10+ hours a day he decided to help Trixie find a home better suited to her needs.
