Trixie is a smart, affectionate, and energetic girl who loves everyone she meets! She is great with dogs, cats, and kids, making her an excellent fit for an active household. She would thrive in a home with another playful dog or with an older child who wants a companion for outdoor adventures. She’s also the perfect dog for an adult looking for a hiking, event, or urban outing buddy—she’s always ready for the next adventure!
Trixie is young, high-energy, and highly intelligent, so she needs a home willing to provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy and well-balanced. When she gets the right mix of activity and engagement, she settles beautifully and is ready for snuggle time.
A bit above average to large yard preferred. No apartments or yards with a four-foot chain link.
She is crate-trained, potty-trained, and knows basic commands. She is also clicker-trained to come when called! She’s still working on loose leash walking (she pulls) and needs reminders not to jump when excited, but she’s eager to learn.
Trixie is a 12-month-old, 55 lb. Carolina Dog mix. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and preventatives, and comes with a crate, toys, bedding, leash, collar, and harness.
If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and active companion, Trixie is ready to meet you!
