My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our expressive boy, Jimmy! He's a 9 month old Mixed Breed that weighs about 30 pounds.. so the perfect lap dog size! Now, as we're not sure what his past life was like as he was found as a stray and transferred in, we've learned since he's been with us how sweet, playful, exuberant, intelligent, and quirky he is. Jimmy loves romping around in the backyard burning his energy out and when he's sleepy he'll come lay in his dog bed and snuggle with his plushy toys. Jimmy has met some other dogs at the shelter and has done well- we believe he wouldn't mind sharing his home with a brother or sister canine companion. Jimmy's working on his manners... he just can't help but jump all over you and give you kisses when he sees his people. He seems to be housetrained, but will need some time to learn his new families potty routine and schedule- as he's a smart cookie, we're sure he'll catch on very quickly. Oh, he walks well on the leash, but would benefit from a harness as he tends to pull. Jimmy's neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped!
