My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Toby, he is such an amazing boy. This Labrador Retriever and his sister (Zola) were surrendered by their owner due to health issues. Toby is very sweet and walks well on a leash. He especially enjoys walks with his sister, Zola, and they would like to stay together, if possible, but it is not a requirement. Toby follows basic commands and loves to play. He will be an amazing companion if you give him a chance.

Why not complete an application and schedule an appointment to meet this sweet boy today?

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
