Hello! Cornbread is my name! A vocal boy with a lot to say, that's right, I am VERY talkative. I will chirp at everything.. cats, birds, TV, toys, YOU… anything! I am also very silly. I love to be in everyone’s business. With me around, nothing can be a secret. I love to roll around on the floor and ask for belly rubs and cuddles too. What can I say, I am just too sweet! I have a BIG personality. This is not an understatement. I will be honest, at times I can be a tad bit annoying, but my caretakers ABSOLUTELY adore me for it. How not to?
I am indeed a very lucky boy. Not too long after I was brought to Kitty Save, I began to feel unwell. I was dropping weight and had no appetite. I was brought to the vet and sadly, I was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). Luckily, With the love and care from my caretakers, I was given a chance to beat FIP! I endured 84 days of constant medication, both injections and pills, as well as another 84 days of observation. Now I am very happy to say that I am an official FIP Warrior, as I am now cured! Because of the type of FIP that I had, I did end up with some nerve damage in my tail, meaning that I have no feeling or control of it. It's just another thing that makes me special!
Throughout my treatment, my brother, PotPie stuck by my side. Always open to giving me hugs, cuddles, and kisses, even when I was at my lowest. He is definitely a kitty I hold very close. This means that we must be adopted together, we are just too bonded to separate!
