Little Poppy LeFluer is just a little beauty amongst the flowers!

Poppy is a 9 week old, female, chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix. We think there may be a little terrier in there too based on her little wirey hairs. She will likely be about 10-12 lbs when full grown.

As of today Pappy is your typical puppy…She is working on learning about the world including the big topics like crate training, house breaking and good doggie manners. She is great with dogs, kids, and all creatures and will need a family to keep her well socialized.

If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.

We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and the perfect forever home for our dogs. We appreciate you working with us.

Our adoption fees cover spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
