Hi! My name is Candy Corn! I got my name not only because I am SO sweet....but because my foster mom found me on the side of the road when she was on her way to a vet appointment with her other foster puppies and she lured me with candy corn! I was super skinny and all on my own, and I was scared. She tossed me some candy corn, and I scarfed it right up I was so hungry. It also showed me that I had nothing to be afraid of, so I was brave and went to the vet with her. They found out that all though I clearly hadn't been taken care of and I was skinny with fleas, I was in great health otherwise and SO very sweet. I was SO appreciative to be found by a kind person. I am a petite little thing, and probably mixed with a smaller breed. The vet guessed I will top out about 40lbs so I will stay on the smaller size. I am heartworm negative and already microchipped and up to date on my vaccinations. I have also been dewormed and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. I love to give kisses and cuddle and I am very submissive. I get along great with other animals including cats and I am gentle so I would be great with kids! If you are interested in meeting me, I would love a forever family of my own! I will be spayed and the rest of my vetting completed on 10/21 so I could go home after that!
