Lalo is a fun, outgoing guy who weighs in at a whopping six and a half pounds. He was seen being thrown from a car with Stitch in the middle of an intersection, thankfully he was picked up before serious damage was done. Lalo loves to go on walks and is a curious boy. He is a lot of fun to be around and enjoys meeting new people. Lalo has some funky front elbows that bow out, they don't seem to affect him except they make his front end shorter than his back end. This doesn't slow him down at all from following his nose.

The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Before you go searching for free puppies or puppies for sale, check your local Shelters for available dogs and puppies that have been vetted and are ready to go home. Adopt Don't Shop.

Our mission is to help you find a pet that meets your expectations and lifestyle. You’re invited to visit with a prospective pet in one of our "Meet N' Greet" rooms. We also offer "Meet N' Greets" for adopters wishing to introduce a current dog to a potential new playmate.
