Hi! My name is Smokey and I am a handsome boy who loves attention, but I may take a while to warm up to you. I’m not unfriendly, just a little reserved. Earning my purr will take some work from you, but I’m always open to a good pet. I prefer to be held upright vs on my back or lying down, and I will let you know when I’ve had enough, but give me some time and I’ll come back! My favorite way to let you know I want your attention and am feeling affectionate is to walk up to you repeatedly (or back and forth if there are two of you) and headbutt you HARD in the leg. Once I trust you and feel safe, I do love to lie on you while you lie on the floor with me. I love and am fairly attached to my buddy Bandit, and am way too tolerant of him nipping my tail, but he’s just a kid, I guess it’s ok. My favorite toys are feather wands, springs, anything I can chase or carry around in my mouth. Check out my amazing ink stamp black paw pads on my white sock feet!

My adoption fee is $175. That includes spay/neuter, microchip, FIV/FeLV combo test, current vaccines and health check.
