Meet Coco: Your New Furry Companion!

Coco is a sweet, lovable Shih Tzu with a heart of gold and a gentle spirit. This charming 7-year-old has experienced a lot in his life and is now ready to find a forever home where he can continue to thrive. Weighing in at about 18 lbs, Coco is looking to shed a few pounds, and he’d love a weight-loss buddy to join him on his journey!
Coco has been cherished by his previous owner, but due to some health issues, his previous owner had a few bumps in the road. He occasionally experiences memory lapses, which led to him feeding Coco some extra meals—so he’s on a mission to slim down a bit! With a little help and some structure, Coco can reach his ideal weight while enjoying life to the fullest.
This low-energy pup enjoys leisurely strolls and walks beautifully on a leash. He loves to prance around the backyard, sniffing everything in sight, and he’s always eager to greet new people and furry friends with a wagging tail. According to his previous owner ,kids especially bring out his sweet and polite nature; he enjoys their company and always behaves like a perfect gentleman.
Coco has a couple of adorable quirks that make him even more lovable. When he’s ready for a potty break, he’ll hop to the door to let you know it’s time! After doing his business, you can often find him doing a little spin before plopping down on the cool floor to relax.
As a Shih Tzu, Coco will require regular grooming to keep his coat looking its best, but he doesn’t mind a little pampering! His favorite spot is on top of the couch, where he can keep a watchful eye on his surroundings and catch some z’s.
Coco is currently in foster care and his foster family is absolutely smitten with him. They look forward to getting to know him better and will update his profile as they learn more about this delightful boy. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loving companion, Coco would be thrilled to meet you!
