MARGAUX is a beautiful plush female WHITE EXOTIC SHORTHAIR. She is spayed and has all of her claws. She is 9 years old. She is up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, and is microchipped. She does great with her litter box as well.
Margaux is on a prescription diet due to a history of stones in the past. She eats both dry and wet food. For this, she is listed as having special needs.
Margaux can be found relaxing in the window in her foster room most of the day watching the birds. She does enjoy it when her foster mom comes to pet her and instantly begins purring. She is quite the gem!
She will need a weekly brushing due to having such a plush coat, but is not as intensive as a persian due to the shorter coat. Additionally, she will need her eyes wiped on a daily basis.
She would be content with being the only cat in the home as she is lower energy and maintenance, but would probably be fine with an older easygoing male cat. Additionally, she would do fine with a dog that is calm and would ignore her. She would prefer a home with no young children as the unpredictability of young children would be too much for her. Kids 10 and older will be considered.
This sweet gal is looking for a new family to call her own!

Our group is composed of wonderful foster volunteers who generously open their homes and hearts to abandoned and abused purebred cats as well as special needs domestics. We have between 25 and 30 foster homes active at any time and can accommodate over 100 cats. We are supported by: Leaders who manage the rescue; Transporters who get cats to us; Hosts who temporarily house cats waiting to get in; and Fans whose love, donations and appreciation keep us going. Everyone works hard to care for and find forever homes for our feline fosters. We exist because of the compassion and love of volunteers, donors and adopters. SPCR is a completely volunteer run organization.
