My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I am the friendly Finn and here's some information about me:

Age: 18 months (approx.)
Breed: St. Bernard/Boxer mix
Weight: 95 lbs
Height: 28 inches
Gender: Male

For a big fella, I am very sweet and playful. I was picked up as a stray in Southern California while running away from a pack of coyotes and landed in an overcrowded shelter,  where I was kenneled with 6 other dogs. Not the best start in life. However my gentle demeanor and puppy dog eyes tugged at the hearstrings of a wonderful volunteer who decided to foster me, despite already having a full house of dogs. This is a temporary situation and  it will be great if I can find my forever home.

My perfect family would include an active person as I really enjoy playing, hiking and running. Being young, I still have loads of energy and enthusiasm for life! I love to play with dog friends and I'm generally good around cats, but will chase them if they decide to run. My daily training has progressed well and I am house-, crate- and leash trained. Being a quick learner, I have also picked up a few basic commands.  I enjoy outings with my foster family. See me at the local pub https://youtu.be/IaVf-ypfI30

I am neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.

A small adoption fee of $100 is requested.

More about this rescue

Loved At Last Dog Rescue operates in the Greater Vancouver area. We rescue and rehome local dogs as well as homeless dogs from numerous countries around the world, including Mexico, Korea, China, Iran, Kuwait, Bahrain and India. Many of these dogs have experienced hardship and cruelty yet they are gentle and loving. We have found that dogs who have experienced suffering appreciate every kindness shown them. All our dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped and those over 6 months are spayed or neutered.
