For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hi there, my name is Stella and I’m a pretty Siberian Husky mix, about 10 months old, 46 lbs with beautiful crystal blue eyes and a very soft medium-length double coat. I was found sitting on the steps of an elementary school in San Antonio Texas where I had been waiting for an entire week. The teachers and children were looking after me the best they could, feeding me snacks, and I was enjoying some playtime with the kids. I was underweight and feeling lonely when one of the moms decided to bring me home and foster me for 4 Little Paws. Now I’m healthy and happy, spayed and vaccinated, and ready to find a wonderful forever home!
I’m a cool girl with a joyful spirit, friendly and playful with gobs of energy perfect for pooping the kids out at playtime. I’m great with other dogs, love doggy toys and running and going on long walks and I’m always excited to go for a ride in the car. I am already housebroken and think barking is silly, so I rarely do it. I’m affectionate and snuggly and enjoy sharing kisses. My foster mom says I am pure sweetness, always up for any adventure and my gorgeous eyes get plenty of compliments! My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
