For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Kingston Humane Society with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Kingsley Age: 1 year
Likes: High energy play time, chasing toys, ZOOMIES!!
Dislikes: Does not like other animals
What would be the ideal home? Kingsley needs a family who can build his confidence. He would love to find a family that can show him the world and socialize him slowly so he can learn people aren't so scary.
Good with other Dogs? No
Good with cats? No
Good with children? Only recommend for teens and up.
Personality: Kingsley is a sweet boy who loves to play, can be shy with new people. Fast or sudden movements still make him nervous but he's learning how to be a brave boy.
How long will it take to settle into a new environment? 2-3 weeks. We recommend looking into the 3-3-3 Rule to help understand what to expect as he adjusts to his new environment and family.
Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Adopter must be experienced do owner who can be patient and provide obedience and leash manners.
Medical: N/A
