Meet Taggart: A Special Kitten with a Big Heart!
Taggart is perfectly imperfect, born with a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) that affects his balance, causing him to walk a little crooked and sometimes tumble. But don’t worry—CH is not contagious or progressive, it doesn’t cause him pain, and it won’t shorten his lifespan.
This brave little guy can eat without help and uses a regular litter box. He just needs a safe home without unsupervised access to stairs he could fall down. Taggart can walk, run, and even climb, and rugs around the house help him get better grip, though they aren’t a must.
Taggart has already made friends with dogs and other cats, and his adventurous spirit will surprise you with how fast he can move around once he learns his space!
If you’re looking for a loving, special needs kitty, Taggart is ready to be part of your family. He’d love to be adopted with another playful cat or kitten or better yet, his CH siblings, Vogt and Finley, so they can continue their journey together!
WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION. PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO BE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED TO A SCREENER.
