Meet New, a sweet puppy that would love to be your new best friend! With a gentle and lovely personality, there's no better dog than New to spend your time with.

New loves going on walks and playing with her toys, but she also enjoys cuddling with her favourite humans. She is a little nervous when meeting new people but will quickly warm up when you give her some space. New has a very childlike and playful spirit, which shows in her zoomies.

New is crate-trained and house-broken but is still working on her leash skills. On walks, New likes to sniff all the new smells and explore the new environment. Loud noises are spooky to Her, but she has been learning that there's nothing scary about them. New has met other dogs and would do well with another doggy friend who can play with her. New currently lives with two cats and does well with them. She has not met any kids but would likely do well in a home with kids due to her gentle and easy-going personality.

New's ideal forever family would be one that can give her all the love and attention she deserves. She loves mental stimulation and will benefit from days filled with activities and training with her forever family. We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
