Butterball is a laid back fella who loves to sunbathe and snuggle. He likes cats and is good with other dogs; he feels most comfortable around low energy dogs his size or smaller. Butterball loves meeting new people, but he does prefer staying at home with his friends and family (the world outside the house is kinda big and scary for this little guy). If you had to make a list, Butterball is mostly all pros with very few cons. If loving his person too much is a con, he may not be the guy for you. Butterball does have some separation anxiety but is working on his confidence and crate training in his foster home. Butterball's only requirements: receiving plenty of snacks and endless snuggles!

Butterball is neutered, up to date on his vaccines and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He is fostered in Northumberland, PA.

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are listed on our website.

Haven to Home Canine Rescue is an all volunteer organization that was founded in June 2008. We do not have a shelter, but use foster homes to care for the dogs that are awaiting their forever homes. FOSTER HOMES are the HAVEN in Haven to Home. We are a non-profit, 501(c)3, organization.
