Hi there! My name is Stella and I am a 6-year-old, 57 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I do not need to be crated when I am left home alone.
I am a social girl who loves both men and women! I will nudge you with my muzzle if we are sitting together and you stop petting me. I am happy to be the welcoming committee to any visitors we have to our home! Unfortunately, I become very anxious when living with children so I cannot go to a home with kids or with plans to have kids.
I am unpredictable with other dogs so I will need to be the only dog in my home. I have met cats and done well with them, though I haven’t lived with any long-term so introductions should be slow and careful if there are cats in my home. I love having chewing toys available—especially Benebones, they are my favorite and I would chew on them for hours at a time if I could. I am phobic of loud noises, particularly thunderstorms or fireworks, and have a trazadone prescription to help me during those events.
I ride well in the car and walk fairly well on leash. I love joining my family for walks and adventures! I have learned sit, down, come, and twirl. I would love to find a family willing to continue my training. Could you be the family I’m looking for?

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
