My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tina Louise and Peggy Sue were someone's pets for 9 years. When they became unable to care for themselves, they were dropped off at a shelter. We rescued them because we couldn't bear the thought that these two sweet senior gals would be in a scary, loud shelter environment. Tina, the chi is mostly blind but she gets around really well and loves to cuddle. Peggy, the terrier mix, is more tentative at first, but also loves to snuggle. Both are spayed and up to date on vaccines. Will you help us save more senior, vulnerable dogs at shelters by fostering or adopting this sweet pair so they can know love and stability for the rest of their days? Their combined adoption donation is $200.

Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
