My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mojo, an adult canine with an independent spirit and an energy that is contagious. This lively fellow has a zest for life that is undeniable. He loves to explore and is always up for a new adventure. Mojo is also a quick learner and enjoys mental stimulation through puzzles and interactive toys. He's not just about play though, Mojo is also a loyal companion who enjoys quiet moments and gentle pats. This combination of energy, independence, and loyalty makes Mojo a unique and engaging companion. Adopt Mojo and bring home a friend who will keep you active, challenge you, and stand by your side through life's journey.
In our care Mojo has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered Mojo is now ready for his new home. If you would like to meet Mojo come to the Escondido Campus.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
