My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Bug: Our Adorable Foster Pup! 🐾

Bug is a 1 year old pittie (~50 lbs) looking for his forever home. Bug loves a good couch snuggle and a play in the yard. His favorite game “Bug Tug” (tug of war)! His foster mom calls him love bug and stink bug. Bug is currently in a home with two dogs but would be content to have all the attention to himself.

The Good Stuff:
🐶 Medium Activity level: Bug likes to play in the yard but isn’t super high energy
🧑‍🎓Star Student: Bug loves learning and thrives when doing his training exercises. He is super smart and loves puzzle games
🥰 Snuggle Bug: Never be alone again! He will be right by your side to relax and snuggle

Skills he Knows:
🪑 Sit
⬇ Down
🐾 Name Recognition
📣 Come

Skills in Progress:
🔄 Trade
⬇️ Off

Considerations:
🐶 Crate: Bug is crate trained but tends to bark before settling so apartments won’t be a good fit.
🐕‍🦺 Work in Progress: Future training will be needed, but we're already working on basics.
😅 Playmates: Bug would be happy being the only dog or with a playmate with similar energy
🐾 Bug is jumpy when greeting people and playing. He would be best in a home with older (10+) children

Bug had a rough start at life and cannot wait to find his forever home. He continues to thrive in his foster home now that he sees what the good life is! Bug is potty trained and crate trained. This sweet boy would make a great addition to any family looking for a forever companion.

The adoption fee for Bug is $400. This donation helps to cover veterinary expenses including spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations.

Wish Upon a Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, foster based animal rescue. If you would like to meet Bug please complete our adoption questionnaire at www.wishuponarescue.org/adopt.
