My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Aaron, an adorable kitten with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love just waiting to be uncovered! Though this little guy is shy, he has so much potential to become a cherished companion with the right, loving and patient home.

Aaron enjoys quiet moments and cozy spots where he can observe the world around him. With a little time and gentle encouragement, he'll start to show his playful side, delighting you with his curiosity and charm. He's the PURRfect blend of sweetness and potential, just waiting for someone to help him flourish.

Aaron is searching for a calm environment where he can build confidence and feel secure. If you have a tender heart and a little extra patience, you'll find that Aaron has so much love to give in return. Come meet this sweet boy today!

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
