My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tinker and Lucy are a shy but incredibly sweet pair of sister cats looking for a loving home where they can stay together. Though they may be a bit reserved at first, these bonded sisters share a deep connection and comfort each other in new environments. Both cats have soft, sleek fur and expressive eyes that reflect their gentle nature. Once they feel safe, they enjoy quiet moments of affection and will happily curl up beside you loving lots of pets. Tinker and Lucy would thrive in a calm, patient home where they can come out of their shells together, offering double the love and companionship. If you're looking for a sweet, inseparable duo, these two sisters could be the perfect addition to your family. They are used to an adult home so would probably do best without young children around. Other pets may be possible with proper, slow introductions.
A behaviour counselling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease
